According to my understanding of your question, you'd need to:
- Allow customer (registered users) registrations including capturing address details (that can be done with the standard Registration form)
- Allow customer address information to be "pinned" on your Google or Open Street Map.
- Allow customer to update address via user profile (default functionality in Joomla) and that change is then reflected on the Google/Open Street Map (which ever is being used).
- Are you wanting to see *all customer* locations in proximity to your store(s) OR
- wanting to allow the customer to see their location in proximity to your store location(s)?
- Perhaps custom development is required to get exactly what you need i.e. customer address information sourced from the customer profile is then displayed on the map via the extension. You would need to post such requirements to the Professional Development Services sub-forum.
- Perhaps Fabrik (Joomla extension creator) could be used to create such application (it has a learning curve). See JED Listing - Fabrik.
- Alternatively wondering if something like this JED Listing - vmap might be the answer.
It seems pretty flexible in what it can display on maps. - There may be other solutions, someone on the forum may have some ideas.
